When She Leaves
Written

I seen her drive off in a car
Get on a bus and go way too far
One time she even had the nerve to
Take a
plane
I
don't know if it's that cloud of smoke
Or
churning burning wheels
But I
hate it when she leaves on a train
If
leaving becomes a sport they'll name her
The
first world champ
Seems
like I'm always building a fire
And
she's busy breaking up camp
I seen
her float off in a hot air balloon
Spurring her horse and leaving at high noon
One
time she even took my brother's
Motor
crane
I
don't know if it's that cloud of smoke
Or
them churning burning wheels
But I
hate it when she leaves on a train
Well I
know she done it
Just
to poke at my frustration
The
last time she called to say goodbye
It was
collect from the Amtrak station
I seen
her peddle down the road on two wheels
Hop on
the fire truck when the sirens squeal
One
time she sit in our boat and prayed for rain
Lord I
don't know if it's that cloud of smoke or them
Churning burning wheels
But I
hate it when she leaves on a train
Lord I
hate it when she leaves on a train
Lord I
hate it when she leaves on a train
